The Dancehall artist explained to Reshma B Chains how he bounced back from the disappointment of having his set cut short at this year’s Hot 97 Summer Jam in NYC.

The 37-year-old entertainer expressed that some Dancehall artist are “afraid of the streets,” and discussed changes in the genre citing veterans including and Beenie Man.

The “Yeah Yeah” deejay revealed that his favorite Hip Hop rapper is The Notorious Biggie as he focuses on substantial lyrics in his music.

He also gave major credit to his in-house producer and artist Jayds, who engineered “Breeze” for Aidonia featuring Govana.
