Chyna, whose middle name is also Renee, gave birth to their daughter at Los Angeles’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where TMZ reported that she underwent a C-section in the same luxury hospital suite that Kim Kardashian used while delivering Saint West in December.
The celebrity stars got engaged in April and decided to film the birth for their TV show, so we’ll likely get an up close and personal look at their beautiful baby soon.
There was apparently a brief conflict between Rob and Chyna’s team and the hospital, TMZ also reports, as the couple had wanted cameras with them in order to record the birth for a future TV special, and some of the footage they desired was reportedly in conflict with the hospital’s regulations.
Though they had their own team of cameras present for the birth, Rob and Chyna do not want anyone else photographing their baby, so they apparently also hired a security deal to join them at the hospital and protect them from the paparazzi.
Chyna’s rep confirmed that the couple were expecting a child back in May, shortly after news of their engagement broke. They later confirmed the baby news on Instagram, and announced they were expecting a daughter during an episode of their E! reality series, Blac & Chyna.
This is the first child for Rob, 29, and the second for Chyna, 28. The model also shares 4-year-old son King Cairo with her ex, Tyga.
