The Jamaican musician acknowledged the “Inviolable” deejay as one of the leading Dancehall acts of his generation.
The veteran artist recently shared a throwback photo of himself and Popcaan.
“@popcaanmusic u remember da one ya fling dash fawud,” he captioned the photo.
This comes after the “Fed Up” deejay launched yet another scathing attack on Alkaline following his “lackluster” performance at the BRT Weekend event in Miami.
Last week, Bounty Killer took to Instagram to take a jab at the “Badness It Name” deejay’s performance.
“The formula tun funeral The dead man himself,” he captioned a video, implying that it was one of the worst he had seen in years.
Earlier this year, Killer reportedly praised the “Family” deejay as the current leading name in Dancehall due to “years of consistent hits and strong performances.”
However, despite their apparent bromance, the pair has not always been the best of friends. Popcaan notably took several jabs at the Bounty Killer in the past while being affiliated with Vybz Kartel’s Portmore Empire.
They have since put their differences aside and fans are optimistic that the new friendship could lead to a musical collaboration in the near future.
