Jamaican superstar often did songs hitting out against politicians in Jamaica, however, his daughter, , has now entered the political arena.

The Jamaican entertainer’s daughter will represent the Hagley Park Division of the St Andrew East Central constituency, which is represented by Dr Peter Phillips of the People’s National Party (PNP).

She is a marketing graduate of the University of Technology Jamaica.

The election is set for November 28, with Nomination Day scheduled for this Friday, November 11.

The Grammy-winning Reggae singer is currently serving a 10-year sentence in prison for cocaine trafficking. He is scheduled to be released from prison in late 2018 and then deported back to Jamaica.
