“Everybody been bugging me and everything,” Cardi B said in the short clip.
“And you know, I been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now. We’re really good friends and you know we’re really good business partners… He’s always somebody that I run to, to talk to and we got a lot of love for each other,” she explained.
Cardi B admitted that it’s “nobody’s fault,” while making it clear that they just grew out of love for each other.
“But things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time. It’s nobody’s fault, I guess we just grew out of love,” she stated before adding, “But we’re not together anymore. I don’t know, it might take time to get a divorce. And I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.”
Offset commented on Cardi B’s post, confirming their separation.
“Y’all won,” he wrote.
He then shared, via his Instagram story, that he will be dropping a new song on Wednesday.
The pair, who got married back in September of 2017 and share their four-month-old daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, recently took the stage together at the 2018 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in Inglewood, Calif. on Nov. 30.
Cardi B’s confirmation comes months after he has been reportedly cheating on her including with two female nightclub workers whom Cardi allegedly sent her goons to beat up. The former couple shared a sweet kiss, and Offset even laid his hands on Cardi’s butt.
“Thank you husband. He’s so fine,” she had told the audience.
“That’s my baby daddy yo.”
