Damian Marley was verbally abused as he arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Monday (May 29).
A Kenyan journalist has been blasted for his unethical conduct after he spewed expletives at the Reggae superstar.
Damian Marley, who is in Nairobi as part of his world tour and is scheduled to perform at Carnivore on Wednesday, was making his way through airport’s arrival terminus when Capital FM’s Chiko Lawi approached him with a request for a selfie.
The request was turned down, with Damian Marley’s handlers forming a human shield around him.
The journalist responded to the snub by hurling a series of expletives at Damian as he gleefully recorded the episode.
