Danny Glover to visit Jamaica for Reparation Forum
Hollywood actor, producer and humanitarian Danny Glover is expected to arrive in the island on October 3 as a guest of the National Reparation Commission (NCR), Hype Life Magazine has learned.
The reparations advocate, who will be on the island until October 7, is expected to speak at the NCR breakfast forum at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel on October 6.

The forum is expected to be attended former PJ Patterson by and Youth and Culture Minister Lisa Hanna.
Glover’s participation in this forum is a significant step in the integration of Reparation movements that have been gathering momentum in recent months across the US, Europe and the Caribbean, including Jamaica.
Glover is well known for his roles as Detective Sergeant Roger Murtaugh in the Lethal Weapon film series, Mr. Albert Johnson in The Color Purple, cowboy Mal Johnson in Silverado, Michael Harrigan in Predator 2, corrupt cop James McFee in Witness, Colonel Isaac Johnson in Shooter, Detective David Tapp in Saw, and George Knox in Angels in the Outfield.
He has also appeared in many other movies, television shows, and theatrical productions.
He is an active supporter of various humanitarian and political causes.
