Drake is set to release his highly-anticipated remix of "Controlla," featuring Popcaan.

Canadian rapper is reportedly preparing to drop a remix of “Controlla,” featuring .

While fans across the globe digest and dissect the 20-track project, one aspect of VIEWS that immediately caught everyone’s attention was the absence of Popcaan from “Controlla”.

Instead, Popcaan’s verse has been replaced with a sample of Beanie Man’s “Tear Off Mi Garment.”

While ‘Views’ isn’t completely free from Popcaan as he appears on the track “Too Good,” many fans of the leaked version were left in dismay by the unexpected change.

In an Onstage interview, Jamaican radio jock ZJ Rush revealed that he contacted Popcaan about the situation and that the “High All Day” deejay explained that he was informed by Drake about the changes.

Popcaan says he and Drake are good, and the song will be released as a remix at a later date, according to ZJ Rush.

Drake still showed Popcaan a lot of love on Instagram and, rather than being annoyed about not making the final album cut, Popcaan subtly released a new track of his own, titled “Ova Dweet”.

Meanwhile, Views (previously titled View from the 6) is Drake’s proper follow-up to Nothing Was The Same (not including the mixtapes If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late and What A Time To Be Alive).
