Flippa Mafia's 'Cocaine Conspiracy Trial' Hearing to be Rescheduled

A major snowstorm in New Jersey on March 5 halted the hearing of deejay () at the Camden County Superior Court in New Jersey, last Thursday.

After the pre-trial appearance of Andrew ‘Flippa Mafia’ Davis was cancelled last week, the state is yet to reschedule another date for the artiste.

“The hearing scheduled for March 5 was cancelled due to snow, and it has not been rescheduled yet,” Peter Aseltine, public information officer in the New Jersey Attorney General’s office told media reporters.

Flippa Moggla, whose given name is Andrew Davis, is facing conspiracy to distribute cocaine, leading a narcotics organisation, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and money laundering charges.

He has been incarcerated since September 2013. If convicted, he faces 25 years to life in prison.

The entertainer pleaded “not guilty” to all charges when he appeared in court last September.

Six persons have already been convicted after the Operation Next Day Air sting.

James McBride – Pleaded guilty to first-degree possession of narcotics with intent to distribute. Sentenced on Nov. 21 to 16 years in state prison with an 8-year period of parole ineligibility.

Angel Rivera – Pleaded guilty to first-degree possession of narcotics with intent to distribute on Dec. 19. State will recommend sentence of 10 years in state prison with 3 ½ -year period of parole ineligibility. Sentencing scheduled for April 10.

Juan Cortez – Pleaded guilty to first-degree possession of narcotics with intent to distribute on Dec. 19. State will recommend sentence of 8 years in state prison with 2-year period of parole ineligibility. Sentencing scheduled for April 10.

Sidonie McLeod – Pleaded guilty to second-degree conspiracy. She was sentenced on Jan. 16 to 5 years in state prison.

Hioka Myrie – Pleaded guilty to second-degree conspiracy. She was sentenced to 3 years in state prison on Feb. 20.

Ruan Rose – Pleaded guilty to third-degree conspiracy. He was sentenced to 4 years in state prison on Feb. 13.
