Reggae star Jah Cure has finally commented on reports that he was knocked out during an altercation at a hotel in the Bahamas.
The “True Reflections” singer was allegedly beaten and hospitalized after performing alongside Romain Virgo.
Reports surfaced that Jah Cure was allegedly knocked out cold during a confrontation after a man accused the Jamaican singer of sleeping with his wife. Other reports claimed that the singer was being a peace-maker by trying to part a fight.
However, in a video posted on social media, Jah Cure opened up about his alleged beat down, dismissing rumors that he was caught having sex with the attacker’s wife but merely trying to stop a fight between two drunks.
The artiste, however, did not specifically comment on being knocked out or hospitalized.
“I didnt get beat up, I wasn’t in a fight,” said Jah Cure.
“I just was trying to part a fight between two bahamians. One of them was crazily drunk and acting stupid,” he added.
In 2011, Jah Cure married TV host/fitness trainer Kamila Mcdonald.
The following year, the couple welcomed a baby girl named Kailani Belle.
In 2015, the couple was reportedly separated after Kamila was seen, on numerous occasions, without her wedding ring.
Neither Cure nor Kamila has commented on the split.
Jah Cure is known for hits like “Unconditional Love,” “Prison Walls,” and “Stronger Than Before.”
