Parisa Fitz-Henley, who was born in Jamaica, has a prominent role in the new Marvel Netflix series “Jessica Jones.”

Jamaican-born model and actress joins the elite Marvel Cinematic Universe – featuring prominently in the first season of its Jessica Jones Netflix sequence, which premiered on November 20.

Fitz-Henley plays superhero Luke Cage’s wife – Reva Connors – in the 13-episode, binge-ready launch. The Harlem-born Connors is implicated in human experiments, which subsequently results in her demise.
