John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have welcomed their first child, a daughter.

Supermodel/TV host and musician welcomed their first child, Luna Simone Stephens, on Thursday (Apr. 14).

The couple didn’t announce their daughter’s arrival until Sunday morning, when Teigen revealed the news on Instagram.

“She’s here!” Teigen wrote on Instagram.

“Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy.”

The couple’s child weighed 6 pounds and 11 ounces.

“Our new love is here!” Legend, whose birth name is John Roger Stephens, tweeted.

“Luna Simone Stephens, born on Thursday, the 14th. We couldn’t be happier!”

Teigen has been candid about the couple’s struggles to conceive and revealed last year they had undergone IVF.

Legend and Teigen, who married in 2013, didn’t reveal the sex of their baby until December.

“I’ve made this decision,” Teigen told People in February.

“Not only am I having a girl, but I picked the girl from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, ‘Let’s put in the girl.’ ”

The pair celebrated their upcoming arrival two baby showers—one New York in March and another one in Los Angeles.

Congratulations to the new parents!
