A corrupt juror in  murder trial has officially been charged and his identity revealed.

Jamaican law enforcement officials charged 50-year-old football coach Livingston Cain of Stony Hill, St Andrew with several counts of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Livingston Cain who has been identified as Juror number 3 has now been charged by the police after he was accused of offering bribes.

Cain was slapped with five counts of attempting to pervert the course of Justice, and will face the charges on March 18, 2014.

Juror number three is accused of offering the Jury foreman $500,000 to sway the verdict in the trial, as well as offering other jurors millions of dollars for a not guilty verdict for entertainer Vybz Kartel and his four coaccused.

Vybz Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, and three of his co-accused Shawn Campbell, Kahira Jones, André St John were found guilty for the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams.

Another co-accused, Shane Williams, was acquitted of the murder charge.
