Kiprich robbed of more than $10 million worth of jewellery
Dancehall artist Kiprich’s home was robbed by a sophisticated set of thieves, who broke into his Portmore home and made off with over $10 million worth of jewellery.
Police blotters say that, on November 27, a group of men posing as Jamaica Public Service employees went to the home of the entertainer.
After gaining access to the home, the men allegedly went inside the house and removed a chest which held over $10.5 million worth of jewellery, including a Presidential Rolex watch worth over US$25,000.
One of the burglars has reportedly been taken in custody by the Spanish Town police in connection with the theft.
The entertainer is said to headline Magnum Sting 2014, sponsored by Supreme Promotions, is set to present another historic first.
This year’s staging will not only see the largest dancehall spectacle across the globe, but also a full-blown reggae show.
