Dancehall artiste Delmark Spence, popularly known as Delus, is dead.
The details surrounding his death are unclear at this time, but it is alleged that the entertainer shot himself at his Havendale, St Andrew home in the afternoon of June 22.
Following his birthday celebration four days ago, Delus took to Instagram to thank his family and supporters just yesterday.
“I want to say big respect to all the people who wish me a happy birthday, and happy Fathers Day, shout out to all the people who made my day special,” he said.
Delus, who is the older brother of Dancehall artiste Konshens, is known for hits such as ‘What Tomorrow May Bring’, ‘Another Gal’ and ‘Bad It Up’.
Delus was a member of Konshens’ record label Subkonshus and often collaborated with him on singles.
Many people have taken to social media to offer their condolences including media personality Khadine ‘Miss Kitty’ Hylton, former member of Parliament Damion Crawford, DJ Sanjay, and Tifa.
