While giving his Instagram followers the opportunity to ask him questions, the topic about his recent fallout with the “Wanna Be Loved” singer emerged.
“Why did you disrespect your father?,” one fan asked, to which Markus Myrie responded, “Apart from my father he is a human being, he’s not God and I’m a human being I’m not perfect.”

“So all you Jamaicans and all you people who act like artiste’s are heroes and can’t do anything wrong, I want an artiste to murder one of your family members and see if you still worship them like an idiot,” he added.
Markus Myrie lashed out at the Grammy Award-winning Reggae singer during a shocking Instagram Story rant, referring to father as a homosexual and cocaine addict.
The Jamaican producer subsequently filed a police report against Buju Banton at the Constant Spring police regarding the altercation at Gargamel Music Studios in St Andrew.
Markus has previously opened up about the incident in another Instagram Story while shared a photo of himself with the Reggae superstar.
“My only regret is that I allowed myself to get so blinded by anger that I said things about my father and to the public that I shouldn’t have said, but let he without sin cast the first stone. I have no hatred in my heart for my father …. My only disappointment is the undelivered expectation of a father who refuses to see fatherhood as more than just a title and financial support. Your absence has nothing to do with prison and you know that. Still, I forgive you regardless. I hope one day you decide to be a better father, don’t do it for me; do it for my siblings who are suffering (emotionally),” he continued in another post” he wrote before adding,”When you love people, you tell them the truth regardless of repercussions, for example, this ridiculous, altercations. Many of you may think you know the situation but remember that you weren’t there and he’s my father, not yours. I ask you all to please keep the family in your prayers as I will. I love you @Bujuofficial #Myrie #Family.”
Buju Banton has yet to respond publicly to his son remarks.
Efforts to get a comment from the “Untold Stories” singjay proved futile.
