Jamaican deejay Masicka has responded to recent comments from Dancehall selector, Foota Hype.
Foota Hype recently called out Masicka for only being lyrically potent stating that the artiste was incapable of performing on a live stage. Foota also claimed that the “Answer Me” deejay is “overrated.”
When asked about what he feels about the comments made by Foota Hype, Masicka simply shrugged it off as:
“Him a carry kitty feelings, a Foota Hype thing that,” he told Entertainment Report.
The “Young Millionaire” deejay believes the comments were made because he and Foota’s ex-girlfriend, Ishawna, have a new song and video together entitled “Regardless.”

In an interview with Jamaica STAR, Masicka’s manager, Corey Todd, also opened up about the situation.
Todd stated that the selector was only aiming at his client because of a song Masicka did with his ex-girl last year.
“I understand what he’s doing and that’s fine because that’s a part of dancehall but it’s also personal because of the song with Ishawna,” Todd said.
“He just needs to get his life in order and concentrate on selecting and know he should not over do it,” he added.
