Mavado was rewarded with acres of land in Gambia to build his next mansion.

Dancehall artist was rewarded with acres of land in following news that the “Gangsta For Life” deejay is expected to perform at Independence Stadium in Bakau on Saturday (May 13).

Mavado, who has a large following in the Gambia, says that his followers of the African nation have been waiting for him to relocate to Africa where he should build his next mansion.

“Gambians welcome me with love and respect, over the years the people have been waiting for me and here is my next home mama Africa,” Mavado captioned a photo on Instagram, in which he is seen signing documents.

“They want to build my next mansion here so just look at me signing 😃 now a one bag a teeth when u see mi 🔥,” he added.

Mavado Given Land In Gambia To Build His Next Mansion

Mavado came into prominence after the release of his first single “Real McKoy” in 2004.

A succession of singles led to the release of his 2007 debut album “Gangsta for Life: The Symphony of David Brooks.”

The Jamaican artist has collaborated with acts such as Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg and Drake.

He has also worked with African artists including Nigerian rapper Vector and Ghana’s Shatta Wale.
