Dancehall star Mavado has been accused of taking part in Illuminati activities in order to acquire fame and riches.

Is Dancehall star part of The Illuminati?

The “Big League” deejay is the latest entertainer to face accusations of joining the secret society.

The Jamaican superstar has been accused of taking part in Illuminati activities in order to reach the top of the dancehall genre.

According to celebrity blogs, the allegations “may very well be reactions to his [Mavado] personal success and progress over the past few years.”

Raised in Kingston, Jamaica’s Cassava Piece community, Mavado’s grandmother gave him his first musical experience at a young age while bringing him to church to sing.

At the age of 15, his former mentor Bounty Killer took him under his wing to show him the ropes of the music industry.

He decided to name himself “Mavado” after the Swiss watch company Movado, with his former manager altering the spelling.

In 2004, his debut single, “Real McKoy” provided him instant success. He further established himself with multiple follow-up records that had the distinction of hitting Billboard.

Along with Bounty Killer, he has cited 2Pac as a childhood idol, comparing the late rapper’s life to his own.

Is Mavado part of The Illuminati?

Talks of Mavado being involved in the Illuminati first surfaced in 2011 when the “I Ain’t Going Back Broke” deejay revealed that he had signed a deal with DJ Khaled’s record label We the Best Music Group.

Since stepping onto the international scene and rubbing shoulders with some of the heavy-weight Hip Hop stars, Mavado, whose real name is David Brooks, has been hit with harsh criticism.

In 2013, the artist was accused of exhibiting Illuminati symbolism in the music video for “Give It All To Me,” featuring Nicki Minaj.

Illuminati Watcher reports that “he [Mavado] does the ‘666’ hand sign; over his eye and does another sign when chilling with DJ Khaled in a different scene.”

The Illuminati is an organisation alleged to conspire to control world affairs, by masterminding events and planting agents in government and corporations, in order to gain political power and influence and to establish a New World Order.

Nevertheless, the “So Bazzel” deejay is yet to respond to the stream of accusations.

An effort to get a comment from Mavado’s team proved futile.
