Mr Vegas promises fans that he will stay of out controversy and make his music speak instead.

has finally decided to stay out of controversy.

The outspoken Dancehall veteran recently took to Instagram to disclose that he will now be keeping his mouth shut.

“The new me!,” Vegas captioned a photo of Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr. with his mouth covered with taped, “Only thing that will pass through them tapes, is music.”

Mr Vegas’ declaration was well received by social media users, who congratulated him in the comments section.

Since the beginning of this year, the “Heads High” deejay has made headlines numerous times including his infamous conversion to Christianity, backtracking on his decision to worship God, clash with Pastor Gino Jennings and a shooting at his apartment complex in St Andrew.

He is currently promoting his new album, ISM, a 12-track project sticks to classical roots music. However, the two last tracks are Wakanda Jam, a playful Dancehall cut, inspired by the mythical African kingdom portrayed in the hit movie Black Panther, and Love Up There, an uplifting message set to a gentle uptempo riddim.
