Promoters of the greatest one night Reggae and Dancehall show, revealed that Sting will not be staged this year.

The event promoters were explaining during an interview with On Stage this week.

“The last two, three years the headliner is just never there,” Heavy D stated.

“There was no crowd at Sting, because there was no headliner. Since Kartel gone, the headliner move! We have 50 Artists to work, but If you don’t have two main acts, the 40 don’t count!” Heavy D explained.

“The ones that are hot now is not interested. For the last 8 years we have not made a profit at Sting!” Heavy D added.

Isaiah Laing also went on to tell the public that Sting will be doing an award ceremony for the entertainers who have made Sting what it was over the years. He is also saying a gospel show is in the pipeline.

He ended by stating that next year will see a worldwide staging of Sting which will be multiple shows being held simultaneously.
