Popcaan is working on a new album with Dre Skull.

The Dancehall artist has teamed up with the CEO of Mixpak Records for another album which will follow his debut, “Where We Come From,” released in 2014.

A source close to Popcaan revealed that the duo have been working relentlessly for the past few weeks on the project which is due early next year.

Dre Skull, who is currently in Jamaica, recently shared a photo of he and Popcaan on his Instagram.

“Haven’t slept yet but the vibes still connect 🇯🇲 @popcaanmusic,” he wrote.

Popcaan and Dre Skull previously collaborated on “Get Gyal Easy,” followed by his cut on the Kling Klang Riddim, “So We Do It,” as well as “The System” on the Loudspeaker Riddim.

His 2014 album, “Where We Come From,” peaked at number two on the Reggae Album chart, while his 2012 single “Only Man She Want” reached number 82 on the R&B Hip Hop Songs chart.

Meanwhile, the “World Cup” deejay is gearing up for his UK tour after being featured on Canadian Rapper Drake’s tour “Boy Meets World” in Europe earlier this year.

Popcaan will be performing live at O2 Institute Birmingham on June 30, at the Eventim Apollo London on July 1st, and on July 2nd at the O2 Ritz Manchester.
