The Dancehall entertainers were recently spotted in each other’s presence during a show in Trinidad.
Corey Todd, manager for Masicka, shared a photo of himself, along with the Jamaican artists, and expressed that they are a “family.”
“Family what’s understood don’t need to be explained @masickamusic @popcaanmusic,” Todd captioned the photo.
Popcaan even slammed a fanatic for criticising the artists’ newly-found friendship.
“Watch yah the two artist weh a diss them one another a take pic 😂😂,” a fan wrote while tagging both deejays.
“Ya battyman enuh yo nuh like unity ya suck pussy ina yo community 😐,” Popcaan replied.
Late last year, the pair dropped singles off Notnice Records’ production, El Chapo Riddim. Their affiliation was stemmed from October prior to working with Notnice, according to sources.
Earlier this year, reports surfaced that Aidonia and Popcaan have had a fall-out after the “El Chapo” deejay linked up with Masicka. The reports claimed that Popcaan signed a deal with Corey Todd’s new liquor venture Crysp Vodka, which is also being marketed by his longtime rival Masicka.
Aidonia was supposedly disappointed with the “El Chapo” deejay as he believe the move displays a lack of loyalty, which fans have accused Popcaan of over the years.
