Popcaan has won the MOBO Awards for 'Best Reggae Act' 2016.

Dancehall artiste Popcaan has won the Best Reggae Act 2016 at the MOBO Awards for the second year in a row.

The “Ova Dweet” deejay, whose real name is Andrae Hugh Sutherland, attended the event with his entourage in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom on Friday, November 4.

“I wanna say much respect to all my producers in Jamaica and England,” The ‘Ova Dweet’ deejay said in his acceptance speech.

“Nuff respect to all the Popcaan fans in the house, I love you, I appreciate the love,” he added.

Popcaan’s brother, Demonie, better known as Squidell, and sister Annalecia Sutherland, better known as Squid, were also present at the event.

Recording artistes Spice, Protoje, Alkaline and Kranium were also nominated in the category.

Popcaan is known for songs like “Everything Nice,” “Love Yuh Bad,” “Where We Come From,” and “Never Sober.”
