wants to get in the furniture business!

The multi-award winning pop star, makeup mogul, actress, designer and philanthropist revealed to WWD that after both a makeup and lingerie line, her next visionary project is to release a line of furniture.

Rihanna disclosed her fantasy during her 4th Diamond Ball on September 13, when asked by WWD what her next dream project would be.

“Hmm…Should I tell you?” she said before adding, “Furniture.”

But don’t expect to be furnishing your house with Rihanna’s designs anytime soon.

“I need time for that. I need time to drop something,” she added.

Launching a collection of Fenty furniture seems like a natural next step for the singer-slash-entrepreneur, who clearly has her sights set on global dominance. With cosmetics, clothing, lingerie, and accessories up her sleeve, homeware remains a relatively untapped market for Rihanna.

If she does release a collection of furniture, she will join the likes of Pharrell, Kanye West, and Tyler, the Creator, as musicians who have all embarked on similar ventures.

Rihanna wears a head-to-toe fuchsia Calvin Klein by Appointment design by Raf Simons

Rihanna stepped out a day later at Sephora in Brooklyn wearing a head-to-toe fuchsia Calvin Klein by Appointment design by Raf Simons to celebrate the occasion of Fenty Beauty’s first birthday. The gown featured a long train, ruffles, and a high slit that served to show off her matching, custom-dyed pumps from Olgana Paris.

The anniversary celebration came just days after the singer closed New York Fashion Week with her Savage x Fenty Spring 2019 show during New York Fashion Week, which comprised an all-star cast, including Gigi and Bella Hadid, Paloma Elsesser, and Slick Woods (who reportedly went into labor during the show).

Rihanna is also working on two albums, a pop-oriented album and a project that explores her roots. She reportedly has 500 songs to choose from for the latter, including contributions from R. City, Ricky Blaze, Kranium, and Supa Dups.

While a release date remains to be seen, Rihanna assured her fans that new music is on the way.

“When the music is ready, you won’t have to ask for it But it’s coming,” she told a fan via Instagram.

“Just not today sis. I’m hype too tho, it can’t come soon enough for me,” she added.
