Popstar Rihanna has leaked a short and sweet interlude from her upcoming album. On the 1:12 long “James Joint,” she sings about her love for weed.
An interlude taken from her forthcoming album (thought to be titled R8), “James Joint” is a mellow, jazzy affair that only lasts for a minute and change.
“I’d rather be smoking weed whenever we breathe / Everytime you kiss me / Don’t say that you miss me / Just come get me.”
“Dude, I’m in love with my interludes. This one called ‘James Joint’ is on constant repeat,” Rihanna told media reporters.
Her eighth LP is due sometime this year featuring production from Kanye West.
“[The album is] soulful and aggressive, whether it’s lyrically, musically, or just the tone of my voice.”
