Model Jinx, whose real name is Jodi Stewart-Henriques, wife of millionaire entertainer Sean Paul, claims she has had to endure constant noise ever since she bought a home next to the Olympic gold medallist two years ago.
Sean Paul’s wife Jodi “Jinx” Stewart-Henriques was so infuriated by Usain’s antics last week that she vented about her neighbor on Facebook.
“Between the bikes, loud, horrid music, parties and screams, I honestly wish he would go back to where he came from. He’s a horrible neighbor.”
“He takes his nasty behaviour with him everywhere. He’s the ultimate party clown.”
However, others have pointed out that Bolt has not been at the house for weeks and was not to blame for the loud party last weekend that prompted Jodi’s outburst.
She claims she has reported Bolt’s behaviour to the local police but they refused to intervene ‘because it’s Bolt’.
After realizing that the “I honestly wish he would go back to where he came from” was in poor taste, regardless of how angry she was with Bolt, Jodi wrote another message to apologize for her offensive remarks.
“After some much needed introspection I would like to publicly apologize for the comments made about Usain Bolt. Not only were they unwarranted but also highly inappropriate and for this I am truly sorry.”
“My intention was never to degrade or disrespect anyone but without realising, I did. I allowed pent up frustration to get the better of me and did not conduct myself in a respectful manner. I apologise to those persons who I hurt, including friends, family my husband, and the Jamaican people at large but especially Usain Bolt.”
“Although I am and have been frustrated by the disturbances, I should have dealt with this in a private and more civil manner. My intentions are to speak with Usain, discuss this regrettable incident and personally apologise.”
Jamaica’s police commissioner, Dr Carl Williams, said:
“Police are aware of these complaints and have done something about it. I cannot say exactly what has been done but it is possible that we have spoken to Mr Bolt.”
“As far as I am concerned, the matter has been dealt with.”
Usain Bolt did not comment.
