Shatta Wale has been facing backlash after giving his bodyguard a resounding slap on stage at the S-Concert held at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana over the Weekend.
On Friday (Dec 1), during the Dancehall artist’s performance, a fan mounted the stage while trying to hold Shatta Wale’s leg when his bodyguard prevented the fan from touching him.
In return, Shatta Wale smacked his bodyguard, Biggie Sparta, in his head for no apparent reason.
The incident, described by many critics as a misconduct, generated loads of discussions with people calling for an apology for the bodyguard from Shatta Wale.

Meanwhile, Biggie Sparta claims that he “will forever be loyal to Wale even if he slaps him several times.”
He indicated that “many people don’t understand the love” that he has for Wale.
Furthermore, on Monday (Dec 4), reports surfaced that artist, whose real name is Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, purchased a brand new motorbike for his bodyguard.
Its alleged that Wale additionally gave his loyal bodyguard some thousands of Ghana Cedis to compensate him for the weighty slap.
Weeks before the slap incident, Shatta Wale stirred controversy after a video of the artist firing warning shots into the skies surfaced on social media.
Its also alleged that the shots were directed at Nigerian artistes including Wizkid, Patoranking and Timaya.
It was later reported that Ghana police were taking steps to investigate the video.
However, no arrest has been made.
