Dancehall fans, who have long speculated whether or not the “Gum” deejay has shared more than just a musical relationship with Vybz Kartel due to their obvious chemistry, have finally received an answer.
In quite a comical fashion, the “Needle Eye” deejay recently took to Instagram to addressing the topic.
“Fi all who wah know if me and [Vybz Kartel] fvck make mi talk since as unu a gwan like me fraid,” she expressed, before adding, “One day mi go link the boss and him smile when him see mi come siddung infront a him wid di Gum. So him light up a big spliff and start bun and mi just go over to him slowly and say yu ready so him say “Long time” so mi say aright come den nuh. So him get up and go inna the voicing box and start record the song. fvcka unu Go see how unu c*ck up and read this.”
The post, which was playfully re-shared by Vybz Kartel’s Instagram handler, did little to convince some fans that the two are not romantically involved.
This is not the first time the Spice addressed allegations about her and the “Worl Boss” deejay. She previously commented on the issue on reality TV show, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.
“Everybody thinks that I had a sexual relationship with Vybz Kartel… The truth is no we weren’t in a sexual relationship,” she revealed.
Nevertheless, the controversy reportedly “benefits both acts perfectly” as it pumps up publicity for their brand new collaboration “Worlds Apart,” which is scheduled to be drop in the coming days.
Vybz Kartel and Spice have collaborated on several hit singles over the years including Billboard charting “Ramping Shop” and their 2004 hit “Conjugal Visit.”
