Earlier this week, the UK-Jamaican rapper came under criticism about her 2013 tweet which started “dark-skinned” girls would change their skin color if they were given the choice.

Stefflon Don’s tweet reportedly called out “dark-skinned” women “hating on light-skinned” women.

“Don’t act like if god gave you a choice you wouldn’t change your colour lool,” her tweet quoted.

The “Hurtin’ Me” singer first apologized about the old tweet back in January, but it resurfaced amidst her ongoing beef with fans of .

In a tweet, along with lengthly note, Stefflon, whose given name is Stephanie Allen, shared the backstory behind the tweet and made it clear that she has no hate towards anyone.

“And people will still find something bad to say even after they read this,” she wrote.

“People brought up my dad who has been murdered less than 6 months ago but is ok, i know what it really is and so does god and when its said and done that is all that really matters #GodGotMeEVERYTIME.”
