Jamaican songstress Tessanne Chin and Dancehall entertainer Agent Sasco gave a well-received performance as hundreds of students and young leaders awaited the arrival of US President Barack Obama at the Assembly Hally at University of the West Indies (UWI) in St Andrew, Jamaica.

Agent Sasco was seated in the VIP section, and was a mere 15-feet away from the podium where Obama addressed promising young Jamaicans.

“It’s great to be a part of it [President Obama’s Town Hall with young leaders] in any capacity – it is a once in a lifetime opportunity,” Agent Sasco told Loop News.

“It’s something to tell the grandkids in the future, I’m excited, ” he added.

Tessanne Chin, the 2013 The Voice winner, was also seated in the VIP section.

Tessanne Chin took to Instagram to share her glory for the opportunity to perform for President Obama.

Young Jamaican celebrities such as world’s fastest man Usain Bolt; Olympic Gold medallist Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce; beauty queen Kaci Fennell; former Miss Jamaica Yendi Phillipps and media personality Emprezz Golding were also attracted to the forum.
