Tessanne Chin hits Billboard with her ballad "Love Suicide," which debuts at number 30 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart.

Jamaican songstress and 2013 winner of The Voice, , scores her latest Billboard entry, with the ballad “Love Suicide,” which debuts at number 30 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart.

Released on Chin’s Chinita Entertainment label in February, “Love Suicide,” is the first song by a Jamaican artiste to make that Billboard list.

It was written by Blu Jane, who has worked with the likes of , Mariah Carey and Ariana Grande.

Chin charted three times on Billboard charts between 2013 and 2014.

Her cover of Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothin”g reached number 51 on the Hot 100 chart, while her reworking of Simon and Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water” stalled at number 64.

Her take on The Beatles’ “Let It Be” (feat. Adam Levine) peaked at number 76 on the Hot 100 chart

Chin is in the process of releasing a new album. Tessanne thus has far collaborated with American rapper T.I. and producer Lil’ C for the upcoming album which remains untitled.
