Canadian singer, The Weeknd, is projected to go to the number 1 spot of the billboard albums chart after the album was slated to sell between 350k-400k copies after a successful releases on Nov 25.
That number stays inline with his last releases “Beauty Before the Madness” which sold 412,000 copies.
The album, entitled “Starboy,” boasts the hit singles “Starboy” and “False Alarm” along with features from Future, Daft Punk, Lana Del Rey and Kendrick Lamar.
The album will be placed on the charts, based on it’s sales, on Dec 4.
The album was released on iTunes in over 80 countries. The title track “Starboy” is already at number 2 on the billboard singles chart and the individual tracks from the album has been doing well on the Spotify viral 50.
