“Fast & Furious” actor Tyrese Gibson joined several fans for a tearful memorial at the crash site where his co-star Paul Walker was killed.
Gibson, 34, was photographed crying with a flower in hand during his emotional visit to the Santa Clarita, Calif., road where Walker, 40, and his business partner Roger Rodas died in a fiery car crash last Saturday.
The blond, blue-eyed movie star and his companion were said to be burned “beyond recognition,” and a coroner will reportedly delay autopsies until identification is made using dental records, a rep from the Los Angeles County coroner’s office told TMZ.
By Sunday the wreckage from the crash was cleared away and replaced by a make-shift memorial of flowers and candles.
Gibson, along with several of Walker’s other “Fast” costars, shared messages of his heartbreak on social media.
“I will keep your energy with me forever,” Gibson wrote in a Facebook message, sharing a photo of a piece of the car wreckage he picked up.
“At least I got to say I love you,” Gibson added, sharing a text message exchange between him and Walker from Thanksgiving.
