Usain Bolt recently released his first musical project, Olympe Rose Riddim, earlier this month.
The sprint legend dropped to the project, which features Christopher Martin, Ding Dong, Munga Honourable, and Dexta Daps, to commemorate Bolt’s entry into the world’s luxury alcohol space in collaboration with French alcohol beverage company Pernod Ricard, under its GH Mumm Brand.
Usain Bolt, a major fan of Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Sizzla, Shaggy and Vybz Kartel (who he names as his favorite deejay), told media reporters that he is making a tribute to the art of dancehall with the rhythm’s official release
The luxury alcoholic beverage, also named Olympe Rose, is a collaboration between Usain and the high-end alcohol production company Pernod Ricard under its GH Mumm brand.
The 8-time Olympic gold medalist brought top musicians such as Dexta Daps, Christopher Martin, Ding Dong and also former Reggae Boyz player Ricardo ‘Bibi’ Gardner, to display their talents on the Riddim.
The Riddim is produced by Rajah Karanja Nelson and is set to be released on July 5th. Bolt is said to be very excited because this is his first venture in music. The project has been in the works for the past 3 months.
