Last week, the Dancehall artist took to Instagram revealing to his fans that he will be releasing new music in the near future.

“Vybz Kartel album finally on the way, coming soon📀📀📀” the source revealed along with Kartel’s new album cover art.

Over the weekend, producer Linton “TJ” White also confirmed the news after he uploaded the same cover art for Dancehall artist’s upcoming album on Instagram.

“⚫️⚪️🔇🔜,” he wrote.

While details on project’s name and release date is unknown, sources told Hype Life Magazine that the album is due “very soon.”

Insiders speculate that the art work is a representation of the “old and new Kartel with reference to the artist’s appearance as well as his music.

Vybz Kartel’s forthcoming album is the follow-up to his 2016 critically-acclaimed “King of the Dancehall.” That project was one of the best Reggae selling albums that year and is one of the deejay’s top selling projects of his career.

Kartel and his three co-accused were sentenced to life imprisonment for a murder conviction. They are currently awaiting their verdict in the appeal case, which commenced in July.
