Dancehall fans were left baffled after the verified Instagram account of Kartel shared an image of Shorty, whose real name is Tanesha Johnson, and the incarcerated artiste, with a puzzling message on Saturday (October 29).
“It no work out,” the post read.
To stir more controversy, Kartel’s Instagram bio also divulged shocking details.
“ME AND MI BABY MOTHER ( SHORTY) NO LONGER TOGETHER.
YOU HEAR IT YASO FIRST.”
Social media users immediately concluded that the Jamaican celebrity couple has officially called it quits with their relationship.
Shortly after, Kartel’s Instagram account posted another photo of himself, Shorty and their three sons, with a curbed caption.
“DIS UNUH NUH WANT SEE?
UNUH A GO BLIND #FAMILYFIRST #SHORTBOSSVSWORLBOSS #GAZANATION,” the caption read.
The previous photograph and bio have since then been removed.
The so-called breakup comes after Shorty made a public announcement back in 2014 that she would wait 35-years on the “Champagne Bubble” deejay, who is currently serving a life sentence for murder.
Vybz Kartel and Shorty, who have reportedly been an item for more than 20-years, share three boys together.
