XXXTentacion’s management team is breaking their silence after he was fatally shot in an apparent robbery.
On Tuesday (June 19), the late rapper’s manager Solomon Sobande of EMPIRE, and Bob Celestin of Esq. and AKW PR confirm that the 20-year-old “tragically passed away from a gunshot wound in Deerfield, Florida,” in a statement.

On Monday (June 18), the 2o-year-old was shot in an apparent robbery in South Florida after leaving a motorcycle shop, and was pronounced dead at a nearby Broward County hospital. While it is known that Onfroy was shot to death, there is still scarce information available surrounding the details of the murder.
Police are searching for two suspects after Monday’s fatal shooting outside RIVA Motorsports, a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Fla.
Two armed suspects reportedly approached XXXTentacion and at least one of them fired, before both suspects fled the scene in a dark SUV, reports USA Today.
XXXTentacion’s lawyer, David Bogenschutz, said detectives believe he was shot in a random robbery while trying to purchase a motorcycle. Investigators said the rapper visited a bank and may have withdrew cash shortly before the shooting.
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office is offering a reward up to $3,000 for anyone with information leading to an arrest.
