The Hip Hop icon paid homage to his Jamaican roots with the release the new club banger.

With solid additions from Tory Lanez and Vybz Kartel, who name dropped pretty much all of hip-hop’s most notorious dimes, “Girlfriend” emerges as a simple, fun, and party-friendly single.

“Girlfriend” was produced by New York’s Rockwilder  (Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, LL Cool J) and serves as Busta Rhyme’s first official single since his new deal with Epic Records.

“Nicki Minaj booty squeeze it / Bet yo say yo love stew peas / RiRi she have a fat coochie / Beyonce big up Jay-Z / Ten gal in a me Benz its a sexUV / Fvck pon the seat mek the bedroom see it / Plug in me mattic fi go pon the street,” Vybz Kartel deejay.

Last month, Busta Rhymes hinted at the new track during a trip to Jamaica, where he was recording new material and shooting a video.

He has always been a huge fan and close friend of Vybz Kartel, as seen back in 2014 when he flew to the island to show support during the murder trial of the self-proclaimed “Worl Boss” deejay.
