On Thursday (June 8), the Dancehall star stopped by the controversial TV show as his career continues to make progress on an upward trajectory after the massive international success of the Kurt Riley-produced single.
According to Charly Black’s new manager, Julian Jones-Griffiths, Wendy Williams is a huge fan of the “Whine and Kotch” deejay and reached out to him expressing her interest in having him perform his hit single live on her show earlier this year.
“Wendy and her whole team are big fans. They reached out to me to have Charly perform Party Animal live on the show,” Julian revealed.
The popular TV host also booked the Jamaican entertainer for a star studded event she will be hosting at the Ford Amphitheater in Coney Island, Brooklyn on July 23, which also features Hip Hop artists Fat Joe, Remy Ma and others.

The Wendy Williams Show is a syndicated daytime talk show which airs in multiple markets and is featured in over 50 countries on BET worldwide.
Charly Black expressed his complete gratitude for the opportunity, stating that he is very proud to be represent his country, and Dancehall music overall on a such a massive platform.
“I’m just continuing to put in the hard work and glad to know that more and more people are recognising and requesting me. It’s going to be an honour to represent my country and dancehall music to a wider audience, and to God be the glory,” he said.
He has also been getting loads of attention with the recent Dom Da Bomb remix of “Despacito” which features Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber.
Charly Black has a number of international collaborations in the pipeline and is working on his album which will be released later this year.
