Kanye West reveals his special affinity for his wife Kim Kardashian West’s sisters, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner, rapping that he “would smash” all four in a new song titled “XTCY.”
The 41-year-old rapper surprised fans when he dropped a new track last weekend.
“You got sick thoughts? I got more of ’em/ You got a sister-in-law you would smash? I got four of them,” the husband of Kim Kardashian raps in the first verse.
The cover art for West’s latest single, revealed via download, is a photo of his wife with her four sisters at Kylie’s 21st birthday bash, which the father of three also attended at Delilah, a restaurant-lounge in Los Angeles on Thursday night ahead of the Kylie Cosmetics mogul’s birthday at midnight last Friday.
Listen to “XTCY” by Kanye West.
The song, pronounced “ecstasy,” was released Saturday morning on Twitter and Instagram by DJ Clark Kent, apparently at West’s behest, and was made available via a free WeTransfer file.
“Sitting in the studio with my man @kanyewest and he said.. “Clark, let that new “XTCY” joint go!!! So.. ENJOY: NEW KANYE WEST,” Kent tweeted to which Kanye retweeted him.
The song “XTCY” was initially slated for release on Kanye’s latest album but in the end, it seems he decided to take it off.
The premiere of the controversial songle follows the June 1 release of West’s album YE, his first full-length project since 2016’s The Life of Pablo.
On the seven-track YE, the 21-time Grammy winner addressed everything from his mental health and drug addiction to Tristan Thompson‘s cheating scandal and Kardashian’s reaction to his infamous declaration that slavery was a choice.
In May, Kanye West revealed his previous opioid addiction after liposuction surgery, though ecstasy isn’t considered an opioid.
