The Justus Arison-produced track was released with accompanying visuals via the Dancehall deejay’s VEVO channel after weeks of teasing it on social media.
On the track, said to be dedicated to his son, Mavado says he wishes his son could understand more about the world he lives in.
The videp clip for the track features several footage of the Dancehall star performing live at some of his biggest shows around the world including his most recent trip to Africa as well as tours with DJ Khaled.
Mavado also uses the video to exhibit personal aspects of his life, revealing photographs of his wife and kids including his embattled teenage son who is currently facing a murder trial.

Since the video’s release, Mavado has been receiving positive feedback about the song’s message of not giving up despite facing numerous obstacles. Fans have also been showing support for the deejay in his role as a father, pointing out that it cannot be easy for him to watch his son face the justice system. Some also gave him props for sticking by his son, highlighting that he may not the perfect dad, but they believe he genuinely wants better for his children.
The Dancehall entertainer’s 16-year old son is currently being held in a juvenile detention centre as he was again denied bail when he appeared in court earlier this month. He is facing charges ranging from murder to conspiracy to commit murder, arson, shooting with intent, and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
