Buju Banton drops New Pop Single behind bars, featuring Marco
Reggae veteran Buju Banton released a new single “My Favourite Song,” featuring rising singer Marco.
The Reggae Pop fused single was produced by Stone Cold Records and recorded at Anchor Recording Studios, Kingston Jamaica.
“My Favourite Song” is a pop song with singing vocals comparable to boy groups Backstreet Boys or N Sync.

Marco, who was a toddler when Banton burst on the music scene, said the legendary entertainer has been a favourite of his for years. He explained the influence Banton’s music has had on him.
“Buju showed me that you can be versatile and still remain the same, and that’s what makes Buju the great entertainer that he is,” Marco explained.
Marco, who met the enigmatic Banton when he was younger, pointed to Make My Day as his favourite song from the entertainer.
Mark Hudson, Head of Stone Cold Records, told media reporters that the was recorded in 2001, but never released.
The producer is not in direct contact with the deejay, but said he sent word about the release to him.
The Reggae artist previously collaborated with Stone Cold Records on tracks such as “Five-O” and “Ready Body.”
Plans are in place to shoot a video for My Favourite Song.
