Jamaican popstar drops new single “Hula Hoop”

Jamaican singer OMI, born as Omar Samuel Pasley, has released a new single “Hula Hoop.”

If you loved OMI’s first breakout single, Cherleader, you’ll almost certainly love this one, too.

“Hula Hoop” is a -lite love song, and in lieu of “Cheerleader”‘s trumpet there’s an equally festive saxophone. The singer hopes it reach the same level of chart-topping ubiquity as its predecessor.

OMI scored a No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with the Felix Jaehn remix of “Cheerleader,” and the track was one of 2015′s biggest summer anthems.
