“Over the last couple years I used to tease you and say happy Mother’s Day 😊 – well, today it’s for real. Happy Mother’s Day Tash 😘. I want to wish all Moms a wonderful day. There’s a glimpse of Blush 😉 ❤️,” Gayle captioned the photo.

Gayle and Natasha were blessed with a baby girl in April. The Jamaican opener missed four games during the birth of his child.

The 36-year-old — who plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore — named his daughter Blush which raised eyebrows, especially the Australian media.

The name triggered a lot of comments because Gayle stirred up a controversy for his “don’t blush, baby” line to a female Australian reporter during the Big Bash League in January.

During the Big Bash League in January, his attempt to flirt with Ten Network’s Mel McLaughlin created a lot of hullabaloo in the cricketing circles.

Gayle told the journalist “Your eyes are beautiful, hopefully we can have a drink”, before quipping “don’t blush baby”.

The cricketer had to apologise for his comments and clarified that he didn’t mean any disrespect towards Mel.

“A lot of things have occurred from a simple comment, a joke, a simple joke. It seems it went out of proportion,” Gaye said.

“There wasn’t anything at all meant to be disrespectful to Mel, or offensive. If she felt that way, then I am really sorry for that. There wasn’t any harm meant. It was a simple joke.”

On April 21, Gayle posted a picture of himself and his wife on picture sharing social app to welcome “the arrival” of his “beautiful daughter ‘Blush’ to this world”.

Later, he took to Twitter and thanked everyone “for the sweet and kind messages.”

He added,“Blush won’t Blush, my baby.”
