Miss World 1993 Lisa Hanna recently sported a stylish navy blue pants suit by Louise Graham to the re-opening of parliament.
The MP who was victorious in the February 25 general elections took to social media to show off her outfit crafted by the popular local fashion designer.
“LET’S GET IN FORMATION,” Hanna wrote on Facebook, who is being sworn in for a third time.
“The brave may fall but never yield… I’ve got hot sauce in my bag…,” she wrote.
Hanna thanked her constituents in South East St. Ann for the opportunity to represent them again.
In 1998, Hanna acted in How Stella Got Her Groove Back. In 2003, Hanna tried her hand in broadcasting, hosting a Jamaican talk show Our Voices and was a guest presenter on Xtra in the United States. She returned to her country a year later and was a communications consultant for the Hilton Hotel in New Kingston.
A member of the governing People’s National Party, Hanna currently serves as Member of Parliament for Saint Ann South East, and was Jamaica’s Minister of Youth and Culture from 2012-2016.
She is one of the youngest women to be elected to the Jamaican Parliament.
