Rihanna 'The World's Wildest Style Icon'

Style icon, wild child, creature of the night. Bad gal comes alive after midnight for W Magazine new photoshoot.

Rihanna shows no signs of stepping out of the spotlight, after her infamous topless shoot for French magazine Lui.

Unapologetic beauty, Rihanna, who is currently slaying the Navy across the country on her joint Monster Tour with Eminem, appears in the spreads for the upcoming September issue of W Magazine.

Unlike the eye-popping, Instagram-blocking topless shoot for Lui Magazine, Rihanna has completely covered up fresh out the runway for the dark, tribal-inspired high fashion cover shoot, snapped by the legendary Mert & Marcus and styled by Edward Enninful, while styled by Edward Enninful.

The photoshoot evokes a distinctly dark and tribal mood, with Rihanna adorned in tribal headpieces, jewellery and bold splashes of face paint. She’s styled in primal furs, and is featured alongside wild wolves who contribute to the theme of the shoot.

The ‘World’s Wildest Style Icon’ is W Magazine’s September cover star, and she looks just as wild as we expected.

The 26-year-old stuns in a Donna Karan New York dress, Ashley Lloyd headdress, Amrapali ruby and diamond ear cuffs, Meadowlark septum ring and a Stephen Dweck sterling silver and pyrite necklace.

The diva dons heavy furs, gigantic jewelry and vibrant face paint and chills with some rather unfriendly looking wolves in the stunning shoot (“Eskimo Horror Cover Story,” as she called it on Twitter), proving that no matter what she’s wearing, the diva knows how to remain a style icon.
