‘Kisses for Breakfast’ is undeniable catchy and flows like a summer breeze.
Calling on Dancehall superstar Popcaan for a few bars and an appearance in the reggae inspired visual, the 20-year-old UK beauty is sure to leave you craving for more.
Produced by upcoming UK talent, Wundah, the single boasts dancehall influences with its breezy melodies, and Caribbean vibes, flowing underneath Melissa’s effortless vocals.
Filmed on the sandy beaches of exotic Jamaica, the visual brings us right into summer with it’s tropical island setting as the ‘hotskulls’ let loose for some fun in the sun.
“The song has a summer, island feel to it which is pretty much why we envisioned Jamaica as the perfect place to shoot the video,” said Melissa. “I literally had the time of my life shooting it. I had a blast!”
Currently in the midst of writing and recording her debut album, the rising artist is set for big things.
Steel signed a record deal with Atlantic Records and is currently working on her debut album with producers such as Kz, Bless Beats and Jamaica’s finest, Baby G. The full length is scheduled to be released later this year.
