Cayman’s newly crowned queen is a lover of arts, culture and heritage.
Monyque was also voted Miss Best Smile, Miss Photogenic and Best In Gown.
She is set on leaving her footprint in the local arts industry through participation in major programs and festivals. She is involved in the National Cultural Foundation’s events and is a part of the Cayman Islands Dance Company.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, and currently puts that to great use working at the Department of Tourism.
For her, being the next Miss Cayman is not only a lifelong dream but also a mission to inspire and affect change.
She vows to stay dedicated to her cause, continuously demonstrating her zeal and commitment to ‘Caymankind.’
Erin Nicole Hislop, sponsored by HighWater, received first runner-up and Schilo Scott, sponsored by Health City Cayman Islands, took second runner-up.
The People’s Choice Award went to Samantha Rae, Best Legs to Jamie Rogers and the Miss Congeniality title went to Shanice Kelly.
