Lil Wayne has become the latest rapper to buy a mansion in the high-profile celebrity neighborhood of California’s Hidden Hills.
According to TMZ, the Young Money head has purchased a $15.4 million, 12,135-square-foot modern farmhouse.
Originally listed for $15.75 million, the custom estate includes seven bedrooms, seven-and-a-half bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen, a breakfast room, a wet bar, a refrigerated wine display, gym, and a home theater.
Sitting on 3.26 acres, the outside features a pool, a basketball court, multiple patios, and a one-bedroom guest house.
With the new purchase, Lil Wayne also became direct neighbors with billionaire socialite Kylie Jenner, who owns three different homes in the area.
The home serves as Lil Wayne’s first West Coast real estate purchase. He also owns a 10,632-square-foot mansion on Allison Island off the coast of Miami Beach, which he purchased in 2018 for $16.75 million.
Situated roughly 30 miles outside of Los Angeles, the exclusive gated community counts several Hip Hop artists among their longtime residents, most notably Drake, Kanye West, The Weeknd, and French Montana.
In other Wayne-related news, the “Right Above It” rapper recently made headlines for discrediting the Grammy Awards.
“Fuk the Grammys,” Lil Wayne inexplicably posted on Twitter one day after the 2021 Grammy Awards, which aired on March 15.
During his music career, Lil Wayne has earned five Grammys.
